Naim Audio

Naim Audio

Established by the late Julian Vereker in 1973, Naim Audio began by producing the NAP160 power amp and the NAC12 preamp. Because Naim amplifiers were capable of driving “difficult” loudspeaker loads they were frequently sold with Linn equipment. The Linn LP12 turntable playing through Naim amps driving Linn Isobarik loudspeakers was a popular high end system through the late 1970s and 1980s.

The Naim range today consists of exceptionally well-engineered and great sounding amplifiers, all-in-one systems, network music players (AKA streamers) and the Fraim range of hi-fi furniture.

The majority of products are built by hand at Naim’s factory in Salisbury, Wiltshire and all products are backed up by Naim’s superb service department ensuring that the equipment will continue to provide listening pleasure for many years to come.
