It differs from the other models in the Nd range in that it features the same fine line nude diamond stylus profile with Rega's best moving coil cartridge, the £3465 Aphelion 2.
Hand made in Southend, the Nd7 cartridge utilises a powerful Neodymium N55 magnet. The design uses a perfectly symmetrical generator for superior channel balance. Like the other Nd cartridges, Nd7 has an optimised pole gap for superior linearity and crosstalk characteristics. This new cartridge has miniature parallel coils, to give a low inductance, low impedance generator for an improved high frequency response.
