Rega Nd5 Moving Magnet Cartridge
Ten years in development, the all new Nd5 cartridge utilises a powerful Neodymium N55 magnet. Hand made in England by Rega’s highly skilled and experienced technicians, the design uses a new perfectly symmetrical generator for superior channel balance. Like the Nd3, the Nd5 has an optimised pole gap for superior linearity and crosstalk characteristics. This new cartridge has miniature parallel coils, to give a low inductance, low impedance generator for an improved high frequency response.
The cartridge tracks exceptionally well, as the cantilever is made of aluminium and has a perfect elliptical nude diamond stylus.
It replaces the Exact in Rega’s range and will be a great upgrade for most moving magnet cartridge owners.
