The 2M Red is designed for precise and accurate retrieval of the information in the record groove. It is Ortofon’s lasting philosophy to only ever play the recorded sound, without colouration.

- Moving magnet cartridge with removable stylus
- Utilises split-pole pin technology to reduce the eddy current and to get a flat frequency response, like with an MC cartridge

- Tipped Elliptical diamond stylus profile
This cartridge is also available in a reduced height version to suit Rega turntables.
It can be upgraded to a 2M Blue at a later date by replacing the stylus.
