The wait is finally over! The sublime performance of Organik DAC – first debuted last year in next-generation Klimax DSM – is now available as a retrofit upgrade across the established Klimax range. 

Organik forms the beating heart of new Klimax DSM – the ultimate streamer – and is largely responsible for its rave reviews, magazine front covers across the globe, and five Product of the Year awards (so far). 

We are pleased to announce that, from today, the Organik upgrade is available for all variants of Klimax DS and DSM – even those from as far back as 2007. 

Linn have set the new Organik upgrade to a flat rate of £5400.00, which covers all Klimax DS, DSM and Exaktbox products they have ever produced*

The benefits are two-fold. Through choosing to upgrade your Klimax DS or DSM with Organik, you will be bringing your cherished streamer up to the current, next-gen Linn standard; meaning you’ll be unlocking DSD256 and 24-bit/384kHz streaming capability! 

This is the latest addition to the list of products which can benefit from Linn’s groundbreaking, entirely homegrown DAC technology; joining Klimax Exaktbox and Klimax 350 integrated loudspeakers in the lineup. 

You’ll already be aware that, at Linn, nothing progresses beyond the prototype stage if it can’t conclusively answer one simple question positively: is this better than what’s available elsewhere? Designing and building their own DAC, from first principles, was no exception. It was only worth doing if the result would be significantly better than Linn’s previous designs utilising 3rd-party chips. 

With this novel DAC architecture, implementation, and realisation, they have finally completed the puzzle; Linn has achieved complete control over the entire signal chain – an ambition fifty years in the making. 

How does it sound? That’s not for us to say. Rest assured though, Linn doesn’t do anything unless they can do it better than what’s available elsewhere…

Klimax DS/0, DS/1, DSM/0 and any Klimax DS to DSM conversions can still have the latest Organik upgrade but they must be sent off to the Linn factory and cannot be done in-store or in your home, however, this will incur no extra charge*

The latest Flagship LP12 from Linn has arrived. The upgrades include a new design moving coil cartridge and improved motor control unit. The combination of these offer hyper accurate speed control, reduced resonances, which gives a more musical reproduction from your vinyl.

We now have the new Majik LP12 in store, first impressions are that is very good.

Linn have partnered with Clearaudio and announced Krane as their new tonearm at Majik level. This new arm coupled with the addition of Karousel, adds significant performance to Majik LP12 compared to the previous configuration, and as a result raises the price of Majik LP12 to £3450. While the price of the product is going up, the increase is significantly less than buying the Krane tonearm and Karousel bearing separately, meaning Majik LP12 is even better value than before.

We are now taking orders order for Majik LP12 with the new Krane tonearm for contact free home delivery.

Please be advised that Krane will only be available at launch as part of a full Majik LP12 sale. Linn will make the Krane tonearm available as an upgrade for existing Majik LP12 owners in 2021.
