We now have the latest version of the Klimax LP12 available for demonstration, with the new Ekstatik cartridge and new improved Radikal.

The latest Flagship LP12 from Linn has arrived. The upgrades include a new design moving coil cartridge and improved motor control unit. The combination of these offer hyper accurate speed control, reduced resonances, which gives a more musical reproduction from your vinyl.

Ekstatik – flagship MC cartridge

• Skeletonised body to achieve ideal overall mass.

• Unique construction creates superb synergy with Ekos SE headshell – wicking away more unwanted resonances out through the sub-chassis.

• Micro-ridge stylus on sapphire cantilever results in less loss between the stylus and the generator.

New Radikal – motor control unit, motor and power supply

• Sustained rotation closer to 33 1⁄3 rpm than ever before, thanks to a hyper-accurate and responsive FPGA-managed motor control unit.
• New housing decouples the motor from the deck more effectively.
• All-new, 6-layer board design facilitates shorter signal paths, and yields Linn’s all-time lowest noise floor.
• Quieter, regulated supply rails have the added halo effect of making the Urika/Urika II internal phono stages sound even better.

We now have the new Majik LP12 in store, first impressions are that is very good.

Linn have partnered with Clearaudio and announced Krane as their new tonearm at Majik level. This new arm coupled with the addition of Karousel, adds significant performance to Majik LP12 compared to the previous configuration, and as a result raises the price of Majik LP12 to £3450. While the price of the product is going up, the increase is significantly less than buying the Krane tonearm and Karousel bearing separately, meaning Majik LP12 is even better value than before.

Please be advised that Krane will only be available at launch as part of a full Majik LP12 sale. Linn will make the Krane tonearm available as an upgrade for existing Majik LP12 owners in 2021.
