Description
Linn Ekstatik moving coil cartridge
Ekstatik is Linn’s highest-performance cartridge. Its machined 7075 aluminium body is skeletonised with a honeycomb cut-out to bring the weight to close to 7g, with aluminium-bronze inserts and a diamond-like carbon coated chassis.
A sapphire cantilever, far stiffer than boron or aluminium, carries a micro-ridge stylus, and three-point mounting keeps the geometry accurate. Linn designed it to work hand in hand with the Ekos SE tonearm.
